The breakfast was lovely, excellent selection of a high standard and all the staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in the Brew House and the parking is literally outside which was so convenient as my daughter is in a wheelchair. It was also great that parking was not at an additional charge. Our room was exceptionally clean, of a good size (even with an adult in a wheelchair) and no step into the room which was a lovely surprise as we had not booked an accessible room. The bed was so comfortable and we both slept brilliantly. The room was decorated and furnished in keeping with the mansion and all looked lovely and not tired at all. The building both inside and out is beautiful and the gardens are amazing. The guest information binder in our room included a brief history of the mansion which was a nice touch. There were two wedding events during our stay and we were very impressed that even though we imagine all the staff were very busy, this did not have a detrimental effect on the quality of food or friendly and helpful service we received. We were attending a three day convention at the NEC and it was such a simple drive to and from the hotel and it was also great to have such a country feel to our stay in contrast to the NEC and to be able to walk around and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful hotel gardens. If you enjoy roses, the scent of some of them is the best I’ve enjoyed for years.

One of the best experiences we’ve ever had in a hotel. This property is simply stunning, even more impressive in person than in the pictures. It’s an old castle with a history and renovated, but kept stylish interiors. It reminds me of a museum, but a very cozy one. Our room was perfectly warm in winter, the bed was delightfully soft and the bathroom pretty spacious. We didn’t spend much time there however, as the most impressive part is the lobby and dining area. Breakfast was amazing as well, I loved the variety of options. Starting with a classic English breakfast with great hash browns, finishing with fresh fruits that were juicy and had a lot of flavour even in march. I would love to come back to this hotel, preferably in summer to enjoy it’s beautiful surroundings.

Staff were polite and friendly, Peter was really helpful as we come to view the venue before for our wedding and chose to stay yesterday to sample rooms and food and after asking if we could have look at the malt house he showed us around the other areas and gave us some great ideas. Room was a great size and walk in shower was a nice touch. Also having the biscuits in the room helped being a diabetic when I felt hungry and light headed this morning there was something quick to grab.

fantastic staff - very helpful. We stayed with our golden retriever who was competing at Crufts. the longe area in the evening was welcoming to dogs and there was a lovely atmosphere. understandably, dogs were not allowed in the restaurant. It was cold outside and snowing, but the room was lovely and warm and we could control the thermostats on the radiators.

Building from outside is stunning and grounds are in good condition too. Definitely gives castle feeling and adds romantic. Staff is trying very hard to keep hotel service on high standard (well done breakfast team). Must say that toiletries looked very good and added charm to modern bathroom, thanks for keeping it that way.
